Marked "sterling" on the back but I can see there is at least a little bit of brassy metal at the hinge (otherwise the silver would be too soft to support the mechanism, and would bend.) 1 3/4" wide, white guilloché (enamel that's semi-transparent, so you can see dense, repetitive metal pattern underneath.) c. 1910 - 1930.
