7/8" x 3/4". No engraving on back. Probably a sweetheart token, not a mourning piece. Just rose-gold-colored metal, not gold. c. 1830-50, partially made via a mold. The glass has an expected amount of scratching, but nothing major. You can see the finely woven flat braid of hair under the glass lens- it's buckling a little because it wasn't put in by the most professional jeweler, probably. This was a more affordable piece, but still REMARKABLE. The double-snake symbolism means "eternity, together", basically.
