A gorgeous and unusually inventive Edwardian wedding band. Four old European-cut diamonds are the "flowers" of a lily-of-the-valley, a plant associated with spring and the return of happiness. Inside, the engraving is playful and so intimate: two clasped hands are incorporated into the initials “E & B” and the wedding date 7 III (March) 1908. A small sculpture.
Lily-of-the-valley was closely associated with spring, happiness and the return of happiness, making it particularly appropriate for a wedding ring
